Our Sankirtan team went Door- Door to distribute Srila Prabhupada Books. Generally we goto Apartment Communities , But Last week we had tried - Town Home Communities , Many people were not at home But it was a good experience , met very good Americans.

Also we had a wonderful Harinam Sankirtan at Palo Alto Downtown in the same evening, Many Devotees participated , We had set up a book table , and distributed many books to Westerners.

# We have met a nice gentleman - David , He was very receptive, and showed lot of interest to hear Bhagavad Gita . But his wife was not very favorable , and she tried to stop him to purchase Book, Somehow Kirshna inspired him within his heart , So he was very determined and neglected his wife instruction , and bough Bhagavad Gita . He also chanted the Maha Mantra .

Unless the person receive the dictation from the Supersoul , He can not buy Gita. David seems to be very fortunate , Krishna enabled him to buy Gita.

Many People will oppose us while executing our devotional service , Many people will treat us as enemies , Sometime our own people will oppose us or neglect us , But We should eagerly continue to serve the mission of Chaitanya Mahaprabhu under the guidance of Srila Prabhupada ! Giving up is very easy But we should aim to remain in the path of Bhakti in the midst of calamities. That is the real Vaishnava life taught by Srila Prabhupada !

# I have met one Student Tom who studies in New York , He came to Bay Area to visit his sister , Very Interested guy . When i met him, he said he had no time , he had to rush Restaurant for a dinner with his family . I requested him to spare a min . He had agreed ,and discussed various subject matters - Law Of Karma, Re-Incarnation , Controller , Lust etc , when we realized we had already passed 20 mins , He was surprised , and He appreciated Gita , Chanted the Maha Mantra , and bought a copy for him self.

You shall find Kalyani Radha's Father with him , Fun thing was Kalyani's father stopped Tom by showing book, and directed him to me. Fun thing was Kalyani's father do not speak English , somehow he was determined to stop people by showing a Book. It worked out very well.

It reminded me that determination is the most imp key in our service , we may lack of abilities But if we are determined to serve the Lord , Krishna will empower us to perform sound service .

# I met a old lady - Amanda , She has 5 version of Gita ,but following Yoga Nanda translations . But She said that she had some questions . I explained the importance of hearing spiritual subject matters from Disicplic succession , How Srila Prabhupada was an authorized personality to write commentary on Gita. etc .

She got convinced , Chanted the Maha Mantra and happily bought Gita As It is.

# We had met a nice gentleman , He is a VVP's daughter contact . He donated $250.

# We met a guy Chong from Vietnam , He was very interested in Yoga, I explained him How Bhakti Yoga is the simplest way to get perfections, Cons of modern Yoga methods, He listened very patiently, Chanted the Maha Mantra , and bought a Perfection of Yoga book.

# We met a muslim guy Salim , I showed him Science of Self Realization Book , explained How this book explains the realities of this world and soul beyond sectarian faiths , He was very sharp, and our discussion last for just 3 mins . He had no questions , simply bought the book. This was the fastest book distribution for a muslim guy in recent times.
