Grand Sri Ramanavami Celebrations on April 15th and 16th

Please join us for Grand Sri Ramanavami Celebrations on April 15th and 16th (Friday & Saturday). There will be once in a year opportunity to perform Sri Sita Rama Kalyanam and witness Sri Sita Rama Pallaki Utsava on Friday, April 15th.

On Saturday, April 16th, there is an opportunity to participate in Sri Rama Taraka Yajna and Sri Rama Pattabhisekam. There is also a special Children Ramayana Costume competition ($5 Registration fee).

There is going to be Kids Mela on both days for children to have fun.

Gaura Purnima Celebrations on Sunday, March 27th

Join us for the celebrations of Gaura Purnima on Sunday, March 27, 2016 from 11:30 am onwards. It is the auspicious appearance day of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. According to scriptural authority, the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna appeared in the form of a devotee as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu at Sridham Mayapura over 500 years ago. He propagated Harinama sankirtana, the congregational chanting of the holy name of the Lord as the yuga dharma for this age of Kali. Due to His golden complexion, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is also known as Gauranga.

Witness the grand Abhisheka of Sri Sri Gaura Nitai and get blessings of the Lord on this auspicious ocassion!

Join us for Grand Nityananda Trayodasi Celebrations on Sunday, Feb 21st from 11:30 AM onwards. There will be Bhajans, Abhisheka, Discourse & Grand feast.

Lord Nityananda is incarnation of Lord Balarama and the principal associate of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. Lord Nityananda, also known as Nitai and Nityananda Prabhu, appeared in Ekachakra village in West Bengal. Assisting Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu in His Harinama sankirtana mission, the all-merciful Lord freely distributed Love of Godhead and performed many pastimes such as the deliverance of sinful souls Jagai an Madhai. Gaudiya-Vaishnavas fast till noon on this day.

Please join us for Pongal celebrations at Sri Krishna Balaram Mandir on Thursday, Jan 14th from 6:30 PM. There will be Kirtans, Arati and Krishna Katha. Apart from marking the harvest time and a fresh beginning of the season, Pongal also marks the beginning of Uttarayana which is considered very auspicious time of the year. The best activity to take advantage of the auspicious time is to engage in chanting of the Lord's Holy names and listening to his pastimes. Come, participate and get spiritually surcharged.

We will be doing 4 hour kirtans on Dec 31st and 10 hour kirtans on Jan 1st. End this year and begin the new year in the most auspicious way by engaging in the chanting of the Lord's Holy name! There is also an opportunity to perform Samoohika Archana to the Lordships throughout the day on Jan 1st.:

Scope of Songs: Carnatic, Hindustani, Light Music varnas or Keerthanas or Vaishnava Bhajans (in appropriate Raaga, Taala and Shruthi).
