Please join us for Gaura Purnima celebrations on Sunday, March 12th, 2017 from 11:30 am onwards. It is the auspicious appearance day of Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu. According to the scriptural authority, the Supreme Lord Sri Krishna appeared in the form of a devotee as Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu at Sridham Mayapur over 500 years ago. He spread Harinama Sankirtana, the congregational chanting of the holy name of the Lord as Kali yuga dharma. Due to His golden complexion, Sri Chaitanya Mahaprabhu is also known as Gauranga.
